Pagṛi (Punjabi: ਪਗੜੀ) is a mandatory “crown” for Sikhs. Wearing a Sikh turban is mandatory for all Amritdhari (baptized) Sikhs (also known as Khalsa).
Among the Sikhs, the Pagri represents honour, self-respect, courage, spirituality, and piety.
